i ordered parts tonight to resurrect my old laptop. after some research, i discovered that it's basically a fine piece of machinery for my needs. it cost me about a hundred bucks to get the necessary parts. the cheapest NEW one i could find was five hundred bucks, and it wasn't much better than this one, came with vista, and had integrated graphics, which ryan says is bad. so here's to the old HP - about to be frankensteined.

Bring it to Denver- I'll give it a tune up and show you what to look for to keep it running smoothly. I know a little bit about computers. ;)
woohoo! part of why i WANTED to fix the old thing up was to bring it to denver, as i am a total blog addict now. how foolish that it did not even OCCUR to me that my very own computer genius would be right in the same ROOM with my sad computer for the first time in... EIGHT YEARS?!
Glad to see my old computer is still alive and kickin! I need a Traci and a Ryan in MY life!! Mum
