i'm not sure how it happened... i looked through every post to see if i missed something or what and clearly i fucked it up. it should have ended yesterday, not today. yesterday should have been day 366. if '08 was a leap year and i started on february 1 of '08, then january 31 of '09 should have been day 366.
i don't know what happened. i clearly fucked it up at some point. but i don't care.
because it's over.

these two things, plus chinese buffet for two, are what i purchased today. psssssst instant spray shampoo seems to essentially be aerosol powder that sucks up the grease in one's unwashed hair to make it appear less filthy. as someone who only recently stopped coloring her hair every two weeks, i am finding that i can no longer get away with skipping a day of hair-washing if i don't want to look homeless. or, that is to say, i COULDN'T... until i discovered psssssst.
and the lavec lt-002? well. let me tell you. on our way home from the aforementioned chinese buffet, i made ryan stop at seconds city - a consignment shop that takes 1% off the price for each day an item is there. well, here was this little bit of awesome sitting on the counter since last september. know what that means? F-R-E-E!!!! in hopes that it would give me the same sort of awful, fuzzy, dreamy quality that some of these lomo cameras i keep drooling over do, i figured what the hell and grabbed it. i found this little blurb on the thing online. kinda funny, and i actually DO like the look of the photos the guy took with it. hopefully worth the cost of a roll or film to give it a go... we shall see.

part of the potential move to denver business has included "going through stuff". today i went through a box in my closet. in it, i found THIS! it was a gift from daniela like 3 years ago. i was amazed to discover i had not lost it, as i had previously believed! and it STILL HAS FILM IN IT! i need to shoot out the rest of the roll so i can get it developed. i have a feeling there are photos of lacey and my days gleaming the cubicle...

i ordered parts tonight to resurrect my old laptop. after some research, i discovered that it's basically a fine piece of machinery for my needs. it cost me about a hundred bucks to get the necessary parts. the cheapest NEW one i could find was five hundred bucks, and it wasn't much better than this one, came with vista, and had integrated graphics, which ryan says is bad. so here's to the old HP - about to be frankensteined.

i am so over this blog at this point and so excited about all the new ones. it's hard to keep this going. only 27 more days. whew.

so, my christmas gift fish, who was originally being referred to as "ralphie" has now sort of earned himself the name "disco fish". because he disco dances pretty much all day. this includes, but is not limited to, playing in the bubbler.

also, on an unrelated note, there are only 28 days left of this blog. and then it's all over. BUT!!! i have started three, count 'em THREE, new blogs this year. you should follow them or subscribe to them or whatever you do. they will be good. they ARE good already.

in addition to my day job at bonfoey, doing all of my various collage and toy art, drawing things for friends, and so on - i am now also moonlighting as a stencil-cutter. my friend tim has employed me to make him various stencils for various paintings he's working on and today, ryan and i found AWESOME plastic to do the big ones on. i am so stoked.
